At Hartic, we continue to develop features that make workplace safety and health management simpler, clearer, and more practical in everyday use. This month, we’re launching two updates that many organizations have been waiting for: a more flexible model for assigning the immediate supervisor, and the ability to export your survey results directly to Excel.
Both new features are designed based on real-world needs and insights from users who work every day to create sustainable and well-functioning workplaces.
A whole new level of flexibility in how you assign a direct supervisor
Previously, the assignment required an employee to belong to a specific department in order to be assigned to a particular manager. Now you can freely choose your immediate manager regardless of the departmental structure. This means that:
- an employee does not have to be assigned to a specific department.
- Managers can be assigned based on their duties and responsibilities rather than organizational structures.
- Cross-functional teams benefit from a simpler and more realistic management structure.
- Administrative burdens are reduced and the division of responsibilities becomes clearer.
This change reflects today's workplace, where employees often work across departmental boundaries and leadership needs to be flexible and adaptable to the situation.
What does this mean for your organization?
The current manager assignment will remain as is until you actively choose to change it. In other words, you’ll have more freedom without disrupting anything.
When you create new employees, you also have more options right from the start, which makes it easier to set up the right structure right away.
This update is the result of recurring feedback from our users, who have been asking for a more modern and user-friendly solution.
Export survey results to Excel
Working with data should be easy, and now we’re making it even easier. You can now export the results from your Pulse surveys, eNPS, and well-being surveys directly to Excel.

Why this is valuable
Hartic is designed to make workplace safety management visual and easy to understand, but sometimes you need to continue working with the data outside the platform. With the export feature, you can:
- integrate the results with other internal systems.
- create your own reports and dashboards.
- analyze data in their own unique ways.
- examine trends over time.
- share results internally for presentations or internal forums.
This feature provides the flexibility many organizations need to integrate workplace data into broader business analyses, HR processes, and management activities.
What you can export
You can download results for:
- pulse surveys.
- eNPS.
- well-being surveys.
- response rates and overall summaries.
This makes it easy to analyze the data however you like and supplement it with your organization’s other information.
We will continue to develop Hartic together with you
Both of these updates are examples of how we build Hartic to reflect real-world conditions and in close collaboration with you—the professionals who work with occupational health and safety every day. By combining simplicity, flexibility, and the ability to work in a data-driven way, we’re creating a platform that helps you make better decisions, faster.
