We have updated Hartic to make systematic workplace health and safety efforts even more intuitive and efficient. The latest improvement concerns the interface for managing Pulse surveys, with a focus on simplifying daily tasks for administrators and managers.
The heart and soul of Hartic remains, of course, the same—a research-based platform that enhances the work environment, engagement, and well-being. But we’ve added several smart features that make it easier than ever to focus on what really matters.
- New category filters make it easy to navigate and find relevant data.
- Visualizing categories helps you find your way quickly.
- An expanded library of templates provides more opportunities to measure, monitor, and improve the work environment in a research-based manner.

Work-life balance
Among the new templates, we would like to highlight " Work-Life Balance," a Pulse survey measures how well employees perceive the balance between work and personal life.
It addresses issues such as:
- Is there time to recover?
- Is the workload reasonable?
- Are the boundaries between work and personal life perceived as sustainable?
This survey assesses two key areas: the physical work environment and the psychosocial work environment. Together, these two areas determine how we feel both at work and outside of work. Learn more about our scientific basis.
The physical work environment is about creating the right conditions for the body to function effectively and stay healthy. Ergonomics, lighting, noise, physical strain, and recovery during the workday directly affect how much energy we have left after work. When the body is provided with good conditions, the risk of pain, fatigue, and stress decreases, and it becomes easier to strike a balance between work and rest.

The psychosocial work environment refers to how we experience our work mentally and socially. Factors such as clear goals, reasonable expectations, a sense of control, effective leadership, and social support play a crucial role here. A healthy psychosocial environment fosters a sense of security, motivation, and purpose, and makes it easier to disconnect from work once the workday is over.
Together, these two areas form the foundation for true balance. The physical environment affects our energy levels, while the psychosocial environment influences how we perceive the demands placed on us. When both work in harmony, our focus, engagement, and well-being increase, and it becomes natural to both perform well at work and feel good in life in general.
